Dharma practice is like riding the waves where they settle as the moon and earth rotates with no specific destination.
For me Dharma practice has been like swimming upstream. At times tiring and frustrating at how much effort and willpower is needed to gain a little progress only to see it lost again.
Slowly but surely I have made progress though and am a much stronger swimmer for it.
Dharma practice is like living with open or closed arms.
With open arms, we can hold the universe and blur in it.
With closed arms, we cling to our ego and can't see beyond.
