It's a sobering thought to think that our mobile phones, which fit comfortably into a jeans back pocket, are actually more capable and powerful than the computers being used to put guys on the moon...
If indeed, they actually did that...

You could say, with reference to my photos, that I'm back from the dead...

We are all noobs, all the time. It recalls beginners mind.
For a moment I thought Ajahn Brahm had grown a big reddish beard. Lol.

A couple of days back I was listening to Sadhguru discussing with an American neuroscientist the concept of time and its relative nature...
Well Sadhguru gave an example of how we experience the length of time differently, he went on to say "How long a minute is, depends on which side of the toilet door you are on..." this comment cracked me up 😁... a been there done that moment...
Anyhow, on my jolk this morning I was at the half way point, where there's a public toilet and water fountain, I normally have a drink before heading back...Well today my bladder was full and ready to burst, so I popped into the public toilets, both cubicles were in use, so I waited patiently, then I heard one of the toilet's being flushed and the basin tap running, I thought any minute now...but it seemed to go on and on and on and my bladder was going crazy....
Standing there with a full bladder ready to burst seemed like the longest two minute on record....🤪😱🤪

That’s very true. Apps like Headspace have become very popular, and a number of youtubers have moved into spirituality areas. I’m thinking of folks like Frank Yang, Connor Murphy and Leo Gura. They make some pretty wild claims for themselves, but I have yet to see evidence of any great wisdom. If they are the future of spirituality we are in for a rough ride.

I realise that it’s a good thing to be brought up sharply to the limits of my preconceptions...it’s like the layers of the onion.
But ...following a particularly notorious episode I had decided that Brand was a very bad fellow. How dare he then challenge my assumptions.😊
