@Jeroen if you think you have a problem, spare a thought for the Aussies...

On my jolk along the beach this morning, there were quite a few dogs who had brought their human companions (hcs) out for a walk...

Two big burly dogs (Brothers or Sisters or a mix of both-not sure of their breed, boxer-like face, short haired and patchy dark and light chocolate brown in colour ) were bounding in and out of the water, I see them on the beach most mornings...

A couple of non locals walking in the opposite direction said to the dogs hc, "Hope you don't let the dogs crap in the ocean...If they do you need to clean it up..." ( one of the dogs must have looked like it was)..and the response from the hc, was "Piss off back to Auckland" ...

I must admit I was waiting for him to add "Jaffa" to the end of it, (it's what kiwis from other parts of the country call people from Auckland city,...which means Just Another F... wit From Auckland) and that would have been a classic response from an islander...

I present to you… the Welsh Tidy Mouse! Unfortunately my own uninvited houseguest has shown no such notions. But perhaps they are not all bad.

Every time I start to write about this. words fail me. The senselessness and sheer brutality bring tears to my heart. It is not enough, but my prayers go to/for the people impacted by this war, by all the wars raging upon this planet of ours.

That is a really good point. I once asked Ajahn Punnadhammo about any references related to ecology and taking care of nature in the suttas. He said there are no real references to any of that because of what you said: the amount of trash was very limited and biodegradable mostly. Though there are some references in the vinaya to the respect of nature as in monks not being allowed to kill or remove plants. I will check that out...

I still imagine, me, peasant Kotishka, going for his morning jolk and seeing a huge turd in front of his mud hut and saying to himself angrily: "God damn Ramesh let his dogs poo in front of my house again! ... And also smashed his ceramic beer mug against the wall!"

According to your first post, I thought you had already drank the coconut water, hence why I recommend throwing it hard on a concrete surface to crack it open...

No worries, I licked the concrete dry! That's how I know the coconut-water is so good!
