We are all one in emptiness
So let all the i ams gather
To be cleansed of concept in the river
And washed of ownership's sins.
How easily the baptized bob to the surface
Up from the depths of original sin.
How they gasp when dripping they arise
To see the light of unbiased awareness.
Let's all gather in a ring of i am nots
Hold hands and sing the praises of freedom.
Let's look lovingly in each others eyes
Freed from the deadly stain of mys.
Yes, it's a grand revival of what we have always been
With ancient verses recited and candles lighted
In remembrances of the ancestral land
And of the language we once found difficult to understand.
Let's sit and share a friendly repast
And talk of times without a past
When only now lasts, through eternity,
And the bread and wine don't substantiate.
Hosanna in the highest and good will to men
And a solemn closing Amen.
Let's spread the word to the world
Emptiness and awareness are unborn again.

@Shoshin said: I don't really know who I AM .. for I change from one moment to the next
The aggregates that seem to make up ME are somewhat complex
One moment I AM happy...Life's great....in fact a box of birds The next moment shit may happens and I AM covered in turds
From one moment to the next I AM changing all the time I guess I AM a state of flux... a composition of life's rhyme
I know for sure that i am not, things change, but i remain completely absent
Like a house painted and furnished every year that never has an occupant.
Any moment i can feel anything, fatigue, elation or a painful toe
But what feels is gone now, like the passenger pigeon and dodo.
My body consists of changing components, that have now become time's food
It is life's rhythm that i feel, and also that nothing that knows remains unmoved.

i am--in context to the topic--grateful for that lucid dharma present . it flows.
is not the dharma that way?
yes!
we be the dao
we be the dharma(buddhist context)
we be the spirit(breath to breath)
that's the spirit.
i hope for us,
as we talk and walk along the way.
"'I am subject to aging, have not gone beyond aging.' This is the first fact that one should reflect on often, whether one is a woman or a man, lay or ordained.
"'I am subject to illness, have not gone beyond illness.' ...
"'I am subject to death, have not gone beyond death.' ...
"'I am subject to grow different, separate from all that is dear and appealing to me.'...
"'I am the owner of my actions, heir to my actions, born of my actions, related through my actions, and have my actions as my arbitrator. Whatever I do, for good or for evil, to that will I fall heir.' ...
"These are the five facts that one should reflect on often, whether one is a woman or a man, lay or ordained.
At times .....
I am Self-ish
I am Egotistic
I am Conceited
Other times
I am Selfless
And in my younger years..
I have (on the odd occasion) been somewhat legless

I don't really know what "special" means really but you are unique. That makes you quite useful as far as I am concerned.
Sometimes to figure out a problem or to see more objectively it helps to have more than one perspective.
All these little "I" s running around... We've hit the jackpot.

Blown leaves
Like living things
Dance
Erratically
Reflections
And the strands
Of mist
So easily
Broken
Only words
And the flickering
Yellow leaves
Are constant
In the end
And always
