Metta meditation - Ajahn Martin
I quite like this take on Metta meditation - rather than trying to radiate out loving kindness, we invite all beings to come and share in the loving kindness we feel in our heart.

Without having listened to the talk, I think that basic idea is appealing to me as well. I remember when hearing teachings on tonglen I asked whether it was okay to think of sharing our happiness and good things with others rather than giving them to others. Just mentioning it now, the idea of sharing evokes warmer feelings in me than giving does.
I like this idea too... the very act of radiating seems to evoke an internal effort, a straining which doesn’t seem to do anything. I listened to the talk, it was nice.
Metta nice. Got it.
What suits you?

Good link @lobster, it had a few types that were new for me, such as “gong meditation”
Pity I don’t have a gong, but I do have a sound track with various Tibetan musical bowl sounds, maybe I will give it a try.
