I think that my plogging is more of a litter-oriented saunter where the forward momentum becomes conditional to the refuse conditions that I meet.
Here, a formal walking meditation jousts with a concentration exercise.
A continual drawing out and re-sheathing of my pickup stick from its garbage bag carries collieries to some samurai practices while the echoes of a litter searching eye develop habitual twitches far beyond its field of view.
I am reminded of a crazy man I once met, walking by my home in a heavy downpour, happily wearing a full snorkel, mask and flippers that he'd found.
Perhaps I have more in common with him than I thought.

No no, it wasn’t meant to be a joke post, serious meditation practice

So one thing I have found is that vipassana can have a rather deadening influence. It’s a good meditation, but it can carry you beyond clarity and liveliness to a place where there is so much peace that liveliness disappears.
One tip I was given was to try five minutes of talking gibberish before starting vipassana. I’ve found it to be very lightening of the mood and the mind, maybe you might find it of benefit.

Healthy Habits - Treat your body and mind as the precious priceless treasures they are.
So simple - Somehow so d'*# hard.
So wonderful - so frustrating - so rewarding
So downright irritating - So...interesting...

Wow Ajax brings back memories...I remember Johan Cruyff one of the great Dutch footballers of the 1970s who also smoked like a trooper

Have you considered edible companions? Herbs for example?
I have some near my kitchen window but I haven't used them for cooking yet. I feel bad clipping their little arms I helped grow. Except the green onions. Green onions I'll cut with zeal.
Any close friends you could recommend?

I keep trying.
The struggle is real. Don't give up! If I spent half the time thinking about exercising actually exercising, I wouldn't need to think about it so much. Just gunna start doing a push-up..maybe two every time I think about exercising and decide not to. Like a mental-processing fee...
I always feel better after exercising even if I have to drag myself kicking and screaming. Why is it so easy to keep setting aside?
I am quite uncomfortable with the number of Zen masters writing in the popular magazines, as well as in the social networks. They also give courses, seminars and talks on almost any subject, with sometimes little time left in a weekend.
In magazines, almost any topic is enough to make an attractive headline. It will never be an option to say nothing or to induce silence. On the contrary!! we will make a new note about "silence and how to take advantage of it"...read it now! or watch the video or listen to the podcast!!!
