Here is an olde one for the dog lovers... (think we had it before. Not sure)
A lost dog wanders into the jungle. A lion spots him from a distance and thinks, “Huh… never seen one of these before. Looks edible.
The lion starts charging. The dog freaks out until he notices some bones nearby. Thinking fast, he blurts out:
“Mmm… that was some tasty lion meat!”
The lion slams the brakes: “Wait… this little dude eats lions?! Nope, I’m out.”
But high up in a tree, a monkey saw the whole thing. He scampers over to the lion and spills the truth, hoping to score points. The lion growls: “Hop on my back. We’ll get him together.”
They storm back toward the dog. The dog sees them coming, panics harder… then yells:
“Where the hell is that monkey? I told him to bring me another lion an hour ago!

Re: God is Comfort Food For Mind
I find the topic title interesting, because we have everything from Spinoza’s God (the whole of existence is God) to the 10.000 Hindu Gods (where being a God is like a job that a being may hold for a few thousand years). Just coming to an understanding of what the word God means to you is a tricky undertaking.
Timothy Leary eventually said about God (it took him five years of taking LSD before he was ok with saying the word “God”): “I feel very comfortable now in saying that I do talk to God and I listen to Him. He is a hipster, he is a musician, and he’s got a great beat going. You’ll never find him in an institution or in an American television stage set. He’s never legal! And he’s got a great sense of humour, too!”

Well, the economic bubble has been predicted to burst by people like Warren Buffet, who has converted a lot of shares into a huge cash position this year in anticipation of a stock market crash. He, and more than a few other people, have been saying the stock market is overvalued by a significant amount.
The question is how much of this high valuation is driven by AI stocks, and will the deflating of the AI hype bubble also cause a stock market crash as investors flee? I think AI stocks will retain a high valuation for a long while — the vision of AI’s providing a willing and super fast 24/7 workforce is too tempting to walk away from.
