Wow what an adrenaline rush...At first the apprehension of what if, and then the rush of adrenaline at take off... It reminds me a bit of when I have lucid dreams of flying..
Cool! I’ve been to India a few times, as a child and later as an adult, but I’ve never been to Varanasi. I agree with you, India is fascinating, but I’m not sure if I’d go back, I have gotten too used to tiled western bathrooms and toilet paper…
Yipeee @person, that's cool!
Advanced Buddhism: dance ("make a fool of yourself") in front of an UNsupportive crowd
This past week Aleena and I went down to Chattanooga to visit the aquarium and take a sunset river cruise, so on our way back, I said let’s swing thru Nashville, they have a Lego store there!

Did the Buddha teach anything more than how to awaken from such dreaming's.
Nope! It was those pesky Bodhisattva's that introduced Gunk-Buddhism...
I have until recently only regularly ever practised just sitting, vipassana and very minimal visualisations.
However we all start with fantasy Buddhism or whatever initially, rings our fly whisk, bell etc.
Anyway I am off to save the world for the Maitriya... Happy or knot.
The thing is, pretty much all spirituality involves some imagination. Gods, myths, heroes, the hereafter, all are imagination-heavy processes. You can place your trust in the Buddha, that he saw the cosmology correctly, but that is about as far as it goes.
