Look at the crowd, all the women in love with him. The setup carefully arranged: women of different races as musicians, women backup singers, violinists, the full Monte, and then Bolton (name changed), fit, and the hair and then the song. Those women didn't have a chance?.
Life is rhythm
Since someone posted Talking Heads a page or two ago, it seems only natural to post David Byrne's latest.
I'm liking Janelle Monae's newest album a lot.

Sweet @Gui where is it and what language?
It’s the time of year when the North Sea Jazz Festival is coming.
@Tsultrim, The Soul Brothers are from South Afrika but I don't know what language they use. If you like this, check out Busi Mhlongo and Mahlathini & the Mahotella Queens
@ Gui, I don't know how much you know about South Africa, but i thought the lead singer had features much like a Kalahari Bushman. I fell in love with them in the "Gods Must Be Crazy", a great movie. I read not long ago that they can no longer live in the Kalahari. They now have to obtain a permit to visit only for a given period. Maybe you know the politics and can tell me.
Today I discovered Ilya Beshevli, glad I did!

We were forced to watch that on school camp......

Vulfpeck "Birds of A Feather, We Rock Together"

This whole week.... I’ve had Enya songs on replay. All albums and Best of. Love her!!
At this moment Kind of Blue, Miles Davies, but I'm very eclectic.

I liked this very much, Laura Pergolizzi, what a voice!
And I was enjoying this, a concert video made of Andreas Vollenweider playing his album Down To The Moon live in Tokyo in 1987.

Not strictly just a song here, but this tour through Beatles history with Paul McCartney and James Cordon is filled with positivity and joy. If you have 23 minutes for a bit of happiness in your life, I recommend having a watch.
I met Sir Paul and Sir Ringo when I lived in London - Chelsea to be exact - in 1969 - 70. They owned an Apple Fashion store, with a hairdresser's down in the basement section. I knew the Chief stylist there - guy named Leslie - whose mum was our next-door neighbour.
After school one day (the bus on the way home stopped right outside the shop) I went in, as ususal, to see Leslie, who was also The Keeper of the Key (my front- door key, my mum and dad both worked) and Paul and Ringo were there having their hair cut!
Aaaah. Brilliant times...
Someone tossed a playlist of relaxing video game music on YouTube, which is pretty much what I listen to while I work.
